What is your refund and cancellation policy for Summer camp?

Accepted Answer

The refund policy we apply complies with the Consumer Protection Act.

You must send us a written notice by email at cantobrossard@gmail.com.() The cancellation will be calculated based on the date your email is sent.
Cancellation before the start of the camp week (before Sunday prior to the concerned week, 11:59 PM):
 If you cancel your registration before the start of the camp week, no fees or compensation will be charged.

Cancellation after the start of the camp week (until Monday of the concerned week, 7:00 AM):
You may cancel your registration at any time.
We will calculate the prorated amount for the camp days already attended and apply a penalty. This penalty will be the lesser of the following amounts: $50 or 10% of the price of the unattended sessions.

CantoBrossard reserves the right to cancel a service if there are not enough participants. In such a case, all registered participants will be notified in advance, and a full refund will be issued.

Question 2

Does the teacher only speak Cantonese in class?

Teachers primarily speak Cantonese. However, English or French will be used if necessary, for explanations and to share important messages.

What is the minimum age requirement for the camp?

Our camp is designed for children aged 5 and older who are currently attending or will be entering elementary school in the upcoming academic year.

What is the camp schedule?

The day camp schedule is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Monday to Friday.

What does a typical day look like at the summer camp?

A typical day at our summer camp is filled with fun and engaging activities!
 • 8:45 - 9:00 AM → Drop-off and welcome time.
 • 9:00 - 9:15 AM → Morning assembly to start the day.
 • 9:15 - 10:45 AM → Activity 1 
 • 10:45 - 11:00 AM → Snack break.
 • 11:00 - 12:30 PM → Activity 2 
 • 12:30 - 1:15 PM → Lunch break and free time.
 • 1:15 - 2:45 PM → Activity 3
 • 2:45 - 4:00 PM → Activity 4 
 • 4:00 PM → Pick-up time or day care service starts (until 6:00 PM)
Each day is packed with learning, creativity, and fun in a Cantonese-immersive environment!

Is childcare available after camp hours, and what is the schedule?

We offer childcare service from 4pm to 6pm at an additional cost. If you require childcare service in the morning, please contact us directly

Question 7

Does the camp offer lunch?

Accepted Answer

No. Children must bring nut-free snacks, a cold lunch and a water bottle every day.

Question 8

My child has severe allergies. What are your policies to ensure his/her safety?

Accepted Answer

Parents should notify the office for any known allergies at registration. Children with allergies are identified with a visible sign at drop-off every morning. Although our camp is a nut-free environment, all children with a known allergy is required to carry an Epi-pen. Our staff have First aid/CPR training and will care for your child if emergency situation arises.

What is the late pick-up policy?

Pick-up time is 4:00 PM, with a 15-minute grace period until 4:15 PM. After this time, a late pick-up fee will apply:
 • $5 per every 5-minute increment, up to a maximum of $10 per day (equivalent to the after-hours daycare fee).
 • Fees must be paid before the child returns to camp the next day.

After-Hours Daycare:
 • Children registered for after-hours daycare must be picked up by 6:00 PM.
 • After 6:00 PM, the same late fee policy applies ($5 per 5 minutes, up to $10 max per day).
If you anticipate being late, please inform us as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation!

What should my child bring to camp?

• A backpack
 • A cold lunch in a container, preferably insulated, with an ice pack and two snacks
 • A pre-filled reusable water bottle (mandatory)
 • Sneakers suitable for sports
 • Clothing suitable for the weather and activities
 • Sunscreen
